Smooth transition path to proaxia VSS on SAP S/4HANA

DBM customers are pleased to discover: the tools for a smooth transition are in place, protecting investments, keeping data history while enabling enhanced VSS capabilities.

SAP DBM customers on SAP ECC can migrate to proaxia VSS on SAP S/4HANA as part of an SAP S/4HANA transition project using tools provided by SAP and proaxia.

The tools to support customer’s DBM enhancements and customization transition from SAP DBM on SAP ECC to proaxia VSS on SAP S/4HANA include the following functions:

  • Support of custom code conversion from DBM to VSS for most of the SAP DBM customization processes such as custom code, screens, actions, events, iObject and iObject extensions (may require some manual activity), classes, and data dictionary entries
  • Capability of reviewing and comparing original code with converted code before applying changes, and of performing the conversion on the whole package or on a single object with one click; additionally, capability of reviewing list of objects to be converted before performing conversion (like SAP SUM Tool)
  • Capability of executing ‘delta code’ conversion to identify changes and capability of performing auto adjustment or manual adaptations (important in dual maintenance for retrofit transports)
  • Detailed execution log and error/issues analyses capability
