Stans, 19 February 2021 – proaxia automotive solutions ag announces its strategic partnership with Tenthpin Management Consultants Co. Ltd as a value added reseller (VAR). Tenthpin is now an exclusive partner for merchandising the proaxia VSS solution in the China and HK SAR region.
In China and HK SAR, Tenthpin continues to expand its automotive portfolio and will offer proaxia’s Dealer Management System and develop local extensions as well as new solutions based on proaxia VSS. In doing so, the company builds on the excellent skills of its consultants (formerly Lodestone) and on in-depth experience in implementing SAP. Tenthpin is an SAP PartnerEdge Silver Partner.
“China manufactures more vehicles than any other country. It is an important market with an ever-rising population and continued economic growth. With its surging demand for mobility, China is well on the path towards becoming a leading global provider of key digital and other newly emerging technologies. SAP has been operating in China for 25 years now and is a strong player. These are all very promising market conditions that we would like to benefit from by all means. The language and the cultural barriers make it difficult to gain ground in China. We are all the more delighted to have won Tenthpin as a partner, with its established presence on the Chinese market and a high level of experience with SAP implementation and digitalization projects. Thanks to this partnership we can now also support vehicle and construction machinery dealers in the China and HK SAR region, aiding them in digital transformation with our innovative digital sales and digital service solution.” (Peter Lindtner, CEO of proaxia)
The new dealer management solution based on SAP S/4HANA® is being developed in co-innovation with SAP and is seamlessly integrated with ERP. proaxia VSS significantly contributes to improving sales and service processes and increasing associated productivity.
Dr. Li Lin, APAC Managing Partner and executive board member at Tenthpin Management Consultants, explains: “Given the strong recovery in sales on the Chinese automotive market in January and February 2021, and in view of the signs of growth in certain segments, we expect that the car sales figures, which fell significantly following the COVID-19 outbreak, will now return to pre-pandemic levels. The Chinese Association of Automobile Manufacturers predicted that actual automobile sales in China would reach 2.54 million units in January 2021, equivalent to an increase of 31.9 percent compared to the same period in the previous year. With increasing sales of conventional cars and electric vehicles, the demand for service and the buying behavior of the next generation of car owners in China is growing more and more complex. This requires car dealers and car manufacturers to adapt and transform their existing sales and service processes in order to match the ever-evolving business models in the car and utility vehicle business. With the proaxia VSS solution, we support the transformation in the automotive retail industry so that dealerships can achieve operational excellence in car sales and services, in the car segment as well as in the field of utility vehicles. At the same time, this proaxia solution provides for innovative business models as demanded by the Chinese market including courtesy car service, customer focus and digitalization in all end-to-end business processes.
Together with proaxia VSS, SAP S/4HANA® and our solution accelerators, we will be delivering excellent solutions for the Chinese market and integrate the processes of automotive manufacturers and dealerships seamlessly.“
